Volunteer at Chastain Horse Park
We could not operate our core therapy programs without dedicated volunteers. Daily, volunteers support both adults and children participating in life-changing therapy sessions, therapeutic riding lessons, and equine-assisted learning.
Whether you're an expert in working with horses or have no experience at all, there is a place for everyone at Chastain Horse Park!
Volunteer Requirements

Must be at least 14 years of age.

Able to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Able to walk or jog on uneven surfaces.

Able to physically react quickly and swiftly to maximize safety of the rider.

Additional requirements depending on the Volunteer Role in question.

Volunteer Roles and Opportunities
Facilitate a safe learning environment for our riders from arrival to departure.
Take responsibility for one of our lesson horses before, during, and after class.
Group volunteer opportunities are the perfect way for corporate teams and groups to provide unique support to our programs.
From set-up to registration and clean up, help us successfully produce critical fundraising events.
