Chastain Horse Park is located in the heart of the City of Atlanta, and is one of the last two remaining, PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International premier accredited urban horse parks in the United States.
Situated within Atlanta's Chastain Park neighborhood, Chastain Horse Park uniquely offers therapy and therapeutic riding, equine-assisted learning, riding lessons, and boarding.
On a daily basis, Chastain Horse Park makes a difference in the lives of individuals of all abilities through life-changing relationships with horses.
Therapy at Chastain Horse Park is provided by licensed medical or behavioral health professional working within their scope of practice in counseling, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or speech- language pathology. The therapist determines how equine interactions, movement or aspects of the equine environment may enhance a client’s individualized treatment plan, with the goal of improving sensorimotor, cognitive, behavioral, emotional, or psychological function.
